The developments on show have been instrumental in the recent sucesses across Europe, Africa, South East Asia and North America where the flexibility and range of solutions have been a key motivation for broadcasters to choose Vector3 for their Playout and Workflow needs. With further projects being deployed you can expect some further announcements soon about how Vector3 and our superb team of partners can design innovative solutions to meet the ever demanding needs of Broadcaster and Media Owners.

Only when you have the many years of experience that we have at Vector3 can you offer the best solutions, prioritizing image quality, playout safety and the best technical support. That's why we want to introduce all visitors the new products we are showing at IBC 2013 Show®:

MCR Client is a great sucess since its initial launch in early 2013 and has grown in features in demand to our customers requirements. It is a software-based automation solution designed to expertly manage the most demanding broadcast environments. Providing a fully functional Continuity Player with all the functionality of the Vector3 Master Control Room Automation, it allows operators to control channels from any location in the world as if they were in the master control room. MCR Client gives total architectural flexibility to the broadcast engineers in the planning of playout facilities and workflows. With resilience at the heart of everything we do, MCR Client takes over control of other machines designated for redundancy and continues transmission seamlessly, should the need arise.

Media Manager Suite is a workflow engine for playout and Master Control Rooms, composed of a suite of applications created to automatically administer the different actions that are needed to bring the files to the correct place at the correct time to be aired smoothly. So, workflow is managed automatically by Media Manager Suite, but it also allows operators to know if their intervention is required. Media Manager Suite deals with video files but also moves other assets through the facility such as playlists, preloading lists, logs, etc. The applications that form the Media Manager Suite are FileIngestor, FileChecker, MediaLibrary, MediaCacher and MediaManager Monitor.

Ad Insertion From a single user interface, the operator can use Ad Insertion to manage disconnections of one or multiple channels. When using VectorBox for playout, Ad Insertion allows the insertion and synchronizes it with the incoming feed. Not only video but also graphics can be used to rebrand the incoming signal, sponsoring, give service messages or simply add a clock with the local time. For playout centres using MultiPlay to insert blocks, Ad Insertion gives the operator a unified and detailed picture of as many channels as are working at the same time..

Supervisor is the perfect tool for broadcasters to easily remove inappropriate content on the fly, replace it with different images or modify the existing one. It can be very useful when the TV station needs to blur an image (i.e. minors or adults who haven’t given permission to be on TV) or silence sounds while the clip is running.

Time Delay: All televisions need a software to deal with delays. Time Delay is Vector3’s application to broadcast videos with delay.

See you in RAI Amsterdam! We hope you come and enjoy from our visit to IBC 2013.
