MediaCopier for enhanced file transfers MediaCopier physically transfers files over the corporate network. It automates tasks and maintenance operations, such as mirroring, transfer to and from repositories, broadcast cache, or transfer to archive. MediaCopier also re-wraps files while copying or if need be, transcode them.
A key feature of the MediaCopier application is speed control – never overloading of switches, RAIDs, and other devices. The centralized administration allows users to organize and prioritize work easily even when many sources and destinations are involved.
Apart from routine and automated tasks, MediaCopier can receive commands from any MAM or scheduling system through extremely simple XML files that can be easily implemented in any modern database.
